Lily POV
The drive back to the pack house was quiet but comfortable. Nathan's hand rested on the gear shift, and every so often, I found myself glancing at him, still processing everything that had happened at the beach. The kiss. His confession. His request to date him.
When we pulled up to the front of the house, Nathan turned off the engine but didn't make any move to let me out. Instead, he reached for my hand, lacing his fingers through mine.
"Lily," he said softly, his thumb tracing circles on my palm. "I know what I'm asking is huge. I know you need time to think about everything."
I nodded, not trusting my voice.
"So here's what I propose," Nathan continued, turning in his seat to face me fully. "Date me for two weeks. Just two weeks. Give us a real chance, not stolen moments
