Katie's POV
“A s*x dream,” Adrian said, his classic cocky amused look on his face, though there's something about it that makes me think he knows I’m lying and he’s not happy, “really?”
“Well you know I’m always available, if you need my help, all you have to do is ask,” Adrian said smiling at me, his eyes boring into mine.
I roll my eyes, deciding to not take his offer seriously. I mean I’ve already made it clear where the line was between us.
Instead I sift my focus to Draven. I’m curious why he’s standing outside of my room with Adrian. Surely he has more important things he could be dealing with right now.
“Why are you here?”
“I heard something, and I came to check it out,” Draven said, crossing his arms, his face still void of anything that would give away what he was thinking.
