It was almost a solid week before her mother came out of Luci’s suite, and her mother and Orien went to the Alpha Suite to talk things through and finally make up. Thatcher had been sent to stay in her room. It was pretty clear why, when they just didn’t come out of that Alpha Suite at all that afternoon, they were in their making up; the adult way.
She likely wouldn’t see them for many days, all her efforts seemed to have finally paid off. The packhouse was a much calmer place for everyone living inside it.
