GARRETT POV
She was a f*****g vision. Disheveled, with rosy cheeks and puffy lips, looking at me with so much intensity I almost howled in delight.
I leaned in, my hand slid to the back of her neck, fingers tangling in her hair, tilting her head just enough to take her mouth again, harder this time, deeper, like I needed to feel her respond, needed to feel that she was just as far gone as I was.
She didn’t disappoint.
Of course she didn’t.
Her hands were already on me, gripping, pulling me closer like there was still distance left between us when there wasn’t, like she needed to close it completely, erase it, and I felt that somewhere low and sharp in my chest, something possessive tightening hard enough to make my jaw flex.
“Careful,” I muttered against her lips, not pulling away,
