Sebastian’s POV When Nyssandra opened the door, sunlight poured down on us, and the King and I shielded our eyes as we walked onto a sandy beach. Waves broke and hurried over to greet us. As my eyes adjusted, the thread pulled me forward, blood burning painfully now. The King was rubbing his chest and scratching his veins. He peered around as if awakening from a dream. His expression lifted, and I watched his chest begin to rise and fall swiftly. “Go,” Nyssandra said. “You will find what you seek.” We both looked at her. The King took her hand. “Truly?” he asked.
