Sarah’s POV Held tightly against Sebastian’s side, we walked back to my mother’s cottage. “Your father is going to be overwhelmed with you and Naevia.” I leaned my head against his chest. “That is why I wanted him to see her first. That was more of a shock. I’m more like a prize.” He spun me around and kissed me. “That you are.” He pulled at me to jump up. I did and locked my legs around his waist. “But you’re my prize, not his.” He kissed me and I laughed. I ran my fingers through his hair. I liked it longer, it made him rugged. Not a duke at all. He had shown me images of his dreams with me, but nothing of life outside of that. I dropped down and was quickly molded to Sebastian’s side. It made me grin ear to ear that he wanted me close.
