I was so relieved when I found out Evelyn had escaped. She’s an i***t for having made me the Lycan King’s Luna, but I’m happy to take advantage of her stupidity.
Father is nearly as excited for me as I am. I haven’t mentioned to him that I’m technically not the Luna and that we have someone else to thank for this twist of fate. I’m sure he would blame me even though it’s not my fault that fate hasn’t paired me with the Lycan King.
But even after Evelyn’s escape, Alexander went out and found her. And brought her back.
At least he relegated her to the dungeons instead of inviting her back into our palace. I don’t know why he didn’t believe the letter I forged to implicate her, but he still clearly suspects her of being a spy.
