Caden’s POV
Three Weeks Later:
Parker’s divorce was nearly complete, with only a week left. Caleb wasn’t feeling well today, so he was staying with my mother. He only agreed to stay behind because we told him we would come back and take him to lunch at the diner. I think he was just tired, more than sick. But it turned out to be a good thing he stayed home today. Parker scheduled her doctor’s visits on Mondays, so I could take her.
It was the end of May, and she had just started her eight-month. She was glowing, happier than I've ever seen her.
