Four months later:
Time moves by so quickly. It was now October, and the anniversary of Christy and Byron’s death. Parker had been sad all week, but was trying to cover it up. She didn’t want to upset the kids, but I knew she was sad. I could feel it, and I hoped that a visit to their graves would help. Parker had been discussing selling their home in Chattanooga. It had been sitting there for a year, but she hadn’t been able to let it go.
