Colton’s POV
We had covered every base we could. All we can do now is wait. Tracey had stayed with Parker until I was through updating my men, and changed for the wedding. Parker looked beautiful when she came to the top of the stairs. Despite the day being stressful, she seemed happy.
“Parker, you look beautiful,” I told her, and she was. She was absolutely glowing.
Caden, on the other hand, was a bundle of nerves and very upset that Mom wanted to keep him from seeing Parker first thing this morning. Caden couldn’t care less if Parker was wearing a potato sack. I didn’t have the heart to point out that he needed to be worried for himself. I saw how Nolan looked at him that night. He wanted Caden dead, just as badly as he wanted Parker dead.
