The photograph of Dani stayed on the screen long after the message disappeared and nobody in the room seemed willing to look away because seeing her alive was the only thing keeping Bones from completely falling apart.
Knox stood with both hands planted against the table while Roman studied the maps spread across it.
Vincent remained near the doorway and his expression had become darker with every passing minute.
"We can't give them the files." Roman said and Bones immediately turned toward him.
"Then what do you suggest?" Bones asked.
"We find another way." Roman said.
"They gave us twenty four hours." Bones said.
"I heard them." Roman said and Bones stepped closer.
"Then stop talking and tell me how we're getting Dani back." Bones demanded as Roman looked toward Knox.
