The last few weeks were lonely. Vito had gone to Chicago to be with his mum for a while because her condition was getting worse.
The only company I had was Tremani and the bunch of security he left to look after me. I called and made sure I heard from him every day.
Compared to the past week, his mum had gotten a little bit better. Vito, on the other hand, was always sad. I even offered to fly to Chicago to keep him company, but he insisted I stay in New York.
He had work to do in New York so he decided he was going to come back soon since his mum was getting a bit better. I missed his presence around the house.
