Chapter Fifteen Venessa’s pov I barely slept a single wink the entire night. The dark hours had been one long, painful cycle of crying into my pillow, staring blankly up at the white ceiling, and checking my blank phone screen over and over again, even though I had completely turned the power off hours ago. Sophia’s cruel, mocking smile and the sight of those awful black boxers haunted every single attempt I made to rest my tired mind.
