Now that Alex and I are fully marked in human and in wolf form, I can feel his emotions like they are my own. I know he is worried about me. He always is, and that is one of the many reasons why I love him. But the longer we drag this out, the higher the risk of Alice killing more innocent people. I can’t rest knowing that she is out there, just waiting to cause my family pain.
Before Alex could answer me, his phone rang. “Excuse me, it’s my dad. I have to take this,” He says. We all nod, so he gets up and walks to the window. Grandpa just started speaking when there was an urgent knock at the door. It sounded like they wanted to break the door down. Grandpa uses his magic to open the door, and Chuck nearly falls inside.
