Bella lets go of the vampire, and he falls on the floor, as blood pours out of his mouth. “What the f**k was that?” She asks, looking at me as I watch the vampire convulse. I carefully pick up the vial and sniff it. “Vervain mixed with something I can’t place,” I say. “Like the plant?” Bella asks and I nod. I know Vervain can weaken vampires, but such a small dose shouldn't be able to do such damage. Whatever is mixed with it must be the real reason.
