The ones who didn't have families and didn't want to go back to their lives just yet were taken to Rivers Safe Haven House. She bought an old school and got it fixed up, and it's finally open. Since she has the room and the volunteers that work there, she agreed to have them all go stay there.
We have it completely gated, and the only way in or out is through a gate that leads straight to the door. We just changed it. It puts you in mind of the gates that lead to a prison. The fence leads to the floor, but there is also a gated door at the end. That way, if someone manages to get in and hurt someone, they can't get back out.
