My wolf had taken over; with me not fully with it yet, it was easy for her to take what she wanted, and mating was her goal.
I was just there for the ride, although what a ride it was. Sky wasn't taking any chances of me withdrawing again or refusing Elijah. Not that I blame her; if what Sky had been growling at me since I came back to join with her was true, she had every right to be angry with me. Poor Sky had missed me and was close to joining the wild wolf pack permanently because it hurt too much seeing Blaze and not being able to mate, like the pull was calling them to do; their bonding couldn't be completed without their human counterpart bonding too.
Her joining the patrols was welcome, and fighting rogues kept her sane, as much as it could.
