Nolan POV “Nolan!” Tara calls, waving. I nod to acknowledge her, but I don’t wave back. I can tell she’s unhappy with my lack of response, but it doesn’t stop her from throwing her arms around me and hugging me tightly when she reaches me. She’s not the woman I want in my arms and the thought has me stiffening as Tara tries to curl in even closer.
