Kieran’s POV I watched Charlotte hurry away with tears in her eyes, and felt my chest crack just a fraction. Had I said something wrong? “Go after her,” my wolf insisted. I hesitated for a moment, uncertain, but then decided to heed my wolf’s call. Going after a crying woman wasn’t typical for me, but Charlotte never cried. I had to check to make sure she was okay, even if I had no idea what to say or why I was doing it. Sighing, I stuffed my hands in my pockets and headed inside.
