“Sniper.” Someone yelled. The shout echoed across the compound a fraction of a second after the rifle cracked through the afternoon air and everyone reacted instinctively while weapons came up and people scattered toward cover. Blade hit the ground hard behind a concrete loading barrier while another round slammed into the side of the warehouse only inches above where his head had been.
