Sienna’s Pov
For two days I avoided him. He didn't call me to his office. I didn't see him in the halls, but it was like trying not to breathe. I felt him everywhere. I knew he was watching me. I saw the changes he made, better lights in our department. Then I saw him talking to David from accounting. David was leaning on my desk laughing. He was flirting. I saw Lucas walk over, his steps were slow. David didn't see him coming.
"The numbers on the Henderson file look great, Sienna," David was saying. His voice was too friendly.
"Thanks, David," I said. I gave him a small smile.
