I was in my office when the call came from HR. The woman on the phone sounded serious and asked me to come down right away. I knew something was wrong because they never called the CEO for small things. I walked to the HR floor and went into the meeting room, there were three people waiting for me including the head of HR and two board members. They had papers in front of them and looked uncomfortable.
