That way you will always have us close by.” I said, and she looked up at me with tear-filled eyes. “Its beautiful Zander, I love it. Thank you,” I took it and put it around her neck, before I kissed her.
“And this one is from the kids at the Sunflower Fund.” I said and handed her their gift. “Really? They didn't need to get me anything,” she says and I smile. “It's just something small to show how much they appreciate you.” I say as she opens it. Her smile widens when she sees the gift.
