All the men hold Matthew so gently, and it's really precious to see. Even Emma came along, and when it was time to hold him, she looked a little emotional, before she tried to hide it. I didn't comment, because I didn't want to make her feel bad. Judging by her reaction, it will be hard to give her baby up when the time comes.
When it's Brady’s turn, Zander shows him the vest Matthew is wearing, and he smiles brightly with tears in his eyes. He is wearing one of the vests Brady bought him, that says, ‘Don’t drop me, my mommy and daddy are lawyers’. I just felt it had special meaning because that was the day everything changed. He chose to save an innocent baby, rather than side with his own flesh and blood. I know he made up his mind earlier, but for me, that was the turning point.
