I strode through the crowd with my head held high and my eyes shimmering with tears. My kids were amidst the warriors, their smiles belying their fatigue.
“Luna Queen Love!” the warriors bowed before me.
"Congratulations! Your kids are the youngest to transition," Beta Joy said, giving Elijah's shoulders a reassuring pat.
"Can he control his wolf?" I inquired, and he nodded.
"Mom! I've told you, I haven't felt that burning sensation in my body since that night," Elijah weakly smiled, reminding me of that fateful evening.
My smile momentarily faltered before Imogen pouted, vying for my attention.
"Mom! I've transitioned too, where's my congratulations?" I admired her growing confidence.
