"Where are we going?" I asked as they continued pushing me towards the car.
"We're headed to the portal," Susie hissed, probably rolling her eyes, but I couldn't see it as she walked ahead of me.
"No!" I suddenly stopped and resisted. "I'm not going anywhere with you. Take me to my kids," I muttered, jingling the chains tying my wrists together. They were treating me like a prisoner, taking me to the portal without even telling me what they were up to. They must be fools to think I wouldn't make any objections.
