Robyn I was really, really happy that my mom was going to seek professional help. I had been encouraging her to take that step since the day after my father’s funeral. And by “encourage” I mean I’d begged, threatened, cajoled, bribed, coerced and tried every other means under heaven and earth to get her to seek help - but to no avail. And I know for a fact that the professor wasn’t the first of her boyfriends to suggest it either. But he was the first one to convince her to do it. I would have given him a big “thank-you” hug, if, you know, I didn’t suspect he had something to do with my father’s death.
