Jack “What do you think,” I asked the lawyer, Bentley Brooks, “Are we dealing with a dirty cop?” “Well, I just did a quick inquiry, and Manfreidi seems legit. I mean he’s been on the force for eleven years, has a wife and three kids, one in college, two in high school. I’ll dig in deeper tomorrow.
