Alpha Jackson’s body was being carried out of the abandoned house by my men. They moved carefully, wrapping him in dark cloth before lifting him onto a stretcher. I stood there watching, still in shock, my mind struggling to process everything that had just happened. The man who had pretended to love my wife for so long had just confessed his obsession with me…and then taken his own life.
I couldn’t move. I couldn’t speak.
Marco stepped closer. “Your Majesty…we’ll be sending his body to his pack.”
I nodded slowly, my throat tight. “Send for his beta. I need to speak to him.”
