I woke earlier than I needed to. Tessa was still asleep, so I dressed without waking her and checked the questions in my notebook. The gathering would begin after breakfast, with every attending pack introduced before the meetings started. I already knew that meant I would see Blackridge again.
Tessa woke while I was putting the notebook into my bag. She dressed, and we left the guest house together to meet the rest of Pinehaven. Lenora was waiting outside with Taren and the others. She explained that introductions would happen inside the meeting hall.
