Cassian stayed near the entrance to the common area while Lysander spoke with one of the visiting warriors. Walking straight to him would draw attention, especially after what happened with Lucan earlier. Taren was still beside me, and I told him I needed a few minutes alone. He looked toward Cassian and understood without asking why.
"Be careful where you speak." Taren glanced around the common area. "There are people from eleven packs here, and you don't know who reports back to Lucan. Use one of the smaller meeting rooms if you can."
