The candles sputtered and danced like a draft had hit them, and a cold shiver raced down my back, making my skin goosebump and my n*****s harden against the thin fabric of my tank top, poking out noticeably.
This was turning from fun to something that had my heart pounding harder, and Lina’s breathing sped up next to me, her chest rising and falling fast.
“This is total bullshit,” she said, but her voice shook a little even as she tried to laugh it off.
“One of us has to be shoving it. Let’s make it prove something. Ask it something only we would know. Edgar, what’s my biggest secret?”
