I was so nervous. I’ve never tried on anything so pretty in my life. Lyla, my new sister-in-laws and my new mother-in-law, took me shopping. Cason gave his mother a card and told her to get me whatever I needed, and he would also pay for Isobel’s, Olivia’s and Tabitha’s dresses. I thought that was extremely sweet. I’ve never seen a brother treat his sister’s so nicely. I know mine never did.
We also had guards and Ninja was one of them. Lyla and he talked. Well, he did most of the talking and she nodded or shook her head. Finally, I overheard her say, ‘We’re good, I have no problem with that,’ but I didn’t know what she meant. I just noticed the smile that bloomed on Ninja’s face, and he said, ‘You’re f*cking awesome, Ly. Glad we can stay friends.’
