Hunter and I ran into the common room to announce our good news, but stopped short. Beast and Lia were meeting Heidi for the first time. Lia had tears in her eyes and a bright smile. Beast looked like he was enamored by his new daughter-in-law.
“Wait, Hunter, let them have this moment. I have a feeling this will be good for Heidi,” I said.
He took a deep breath, “You’re right. We’ll announce it tomorrow,” I smiled at my man. I knew he was extremely excited that I was pregnant and so was I.
“You’re a great big brother,” I said to him.
“I’m only taking your lead, baby. I’d shout it to the rooftops right now. But maybe this way is better. A month ago, I bought Rayna a shirt that says I’m going to be a big sister. This way she can wear it tomorrow with her little cut on.
