Liam's patience, already thin after weeks of Callie's careful stalling, finally began fraying entirely as the ceremony drew to within two days.
He found her alone in the small courtyard garden late one afternoon, gathering flowers for the final ceremony arrangements, and this time he made no effort at all to disguise the fury simmering plainly behind his composed exterior.
