The game of tethers was over, but she had that bear oath to make sure her dad kept himself in complete check. She’d won that game of tethers, likely because her father was now too preoccupied with his new Mate.
Although her game was still afoot, she’d not give it up so quickly, and was going to go through with his Mating Alliance even though she doubted it was truly necessary. Though she did like that he was going to be in this packhouse with her and not out in the woods. Hadn’t even been her doing, really liked that it had been Daksh and Anala that had put that clause in.
