Vacation Cut Short
The day of their vacation had arrived. Damien packed their luggage into the car. Even though it was only supposed to be three days, Mandy had packed two suitcases and a carry-on bag.
When he had asked her why so much stuff, Mandy had cited that she had brought enough outfits to change out 2-3 times a day. When he had asked why again, she had given a look as if to say as a man, he could never understand.
Damien brought his one small carry-on suitcase and the rest of Mandy things and brought them inside the car.
After that, he went inside and called for Mandy, “Mandy, hurry up, or we’ll miss our check-in window.”
“We can check-in anytime,” Mandy said breezily, as she walked down the stairs in a Gucci striped dress, hair held back by Vogue sunglasses, and fingernails
