I never thought I would come back to this city, but I only got the information I was looking for last week. So, here I am in the very place I ran away from more than a year ago. I should have stayed and handled that asshole that drugged me, but I had to leave the minute I heard about my mom. The morning the hospital called, I was safe and snug in a stranger's arms. I know that sounds weird and wrong, but I did feel safe with that man. I wish I could have stayed, or even asked for his name and number.
