Dad assured me that they would get to the bottom of this and keep Riley safe. So I went downstairs to spend some time with my little brother before he fell asleep. He has so many new toys, and he was so excited to show me all the ones I missed. But he did effectively distract me from my worry. Mom packed in some food for me to have for dinner and I left after Asher was asleep. I went home to grab some clothes and then went straight to the hospital.
Riley was moved to a private room, and uncle Brad arranged an extra bed in the room for me. There is a guard stationed outside the door, but I did see one of the newer club members roaming around the hallway. I can keep Riley safe, but I appreciate the extra set of eyes. I doubt whoever is after her would come here anyway. And dad had B
