I am so glad Riley is finally awake. Brad was still here, so he went and checked her vitals and explained all her injuries to her. "Thank you, Dr Ember. When will I be able to leave? I don't have insurance," she asks him and he smiles. "This is a free clinic, my dear. And even if it wasn't, you would be covered. Call it the friends and family discount," he says, and we both chuckle. "This is my Uncle Bradley. We may not be blood-related, but we are family," I say when I see the confused look on her face.
"I see. Thank you for helping me. When will I be able to move around?" she asks again. Hmm, I have a feeling she wants to run. I will have to keep a close eye on her. "You will have to stay here for at least three more days. I cannot release you until all the swelling is complete
