It's been 5 days and Riley has finally been cleared to leave the hospital. There was a lot of back and forth, but she agreed to come and stay with us. My parents wouldn't take no for an answer and neither would me and Asher. She is now safely in the guest room at our house. She still has to wear a cast for the next few weeks, but she is doing much better.
I also think the visits with Caleb are helping. She seems more accepting of the help we are trying to give. She has gotten closer with Thea and I love that because I know Thea will always be there for her. Matthew and Sophia also came to visit and they just left. So far, she has met all my cousins, uncles and aunts. Even Sally came to visit and talked with her. She seems much better adjusted, and she now talks all our heads off l
