As Mila stands there shock etched across her face, her eyes dart to Sebastian. I can feel the tension ripple through the space as she processes Sebastians information.
“I appreciate your concern earlier, and I want to thank you and your wolf for understanding how abilities can be seen as intrusive” Sebastian says to me graciously as he references the exchange Ki and myself had earlier. His voice is steady as he speaks but carrying an undertone of sincerity. “I hope I haven’t changed your opinion of me from not being forthcoming with my own” he apologizes with genuine remorse.
“We should have known” is all Kia huffs to me in slight frustration, “there is far more to him than meets the eye.”
“There is,” Sebastian acknowledges me again personally. “However, do you trust me Kia?”
