Logan’s POV
Eric’s hesitation was understandable.
To be openly accepted into the very same pack that had once held him captive for a considerable time was, no doubt, an uncommon thing to happen. But Harper and I were entirely serious.
“S-Stay?” Eric’s voice carried “For how long?”
Harper gave me a sparing glance before turning back to Eric. “Honestly? Until Calix is properly dealt with.”
“I’m not sure—”
“What would be the point in offering you your freedom back if you were to end up dead within the same day?” I questioned.
“Eric, there is a very likely chance that Calix will put two and two together and figure out that it was you who gave over that information about him,” Harper reasoned. “Please. Just stay here until there's no longer a threat.”
