"What happened?" I rushed forward, my voice laced with urgency.
Linda said, trying to pull herself together, though her voice still shook like a leaf, "Amy and I went to the library to dig up some info on the white wolf. On the way back, I popped into a*****e to grab some food, and Amy waited for me outside.
"When I came back, she was gone." Linda broke down into sobs, tears streaming down her face. "All that was left was her bracelet. Somebody saw her getting snatched by a rogue."
Helen passed Linda a tissue, trying to soothe her. "Ms. Nott, the Alpha's already on the case. We'll get some good news real soon."
