Brian's POV Once again, Aurora had passed out. "So... so cold," she mumbled in her sleep, her brows knitted together. It was clear she was trapped in the throes of a nightmare. Recalling what had just gone down, I shrugged off my jacket and slipped under the covers beside her. I pulled her close, snug as a bug in a rug. The familiar scent of her filled my nostrils, but my mind was in a total tizzy. In that cave, I'd seen firsthand how blindingly fast and powerful she'd become. And that golden light? It sent shivers down my spine. I was itching to get in touch with Thor and ask him where Aurora had been the night before, but I knew better. It wasn't a good idea. As I held her in my arms, I gently stroked her furrowed brow, hoping it'd help her relax and shake off the bad dream.
