Gabriella's Pov
After my conversation with Selena on the balcony, the doubt left my mind.
I needed to speak to Lexus.
I found him in the outer courtyard. He was helping some werewolf fathers fix a wooden wheel on a big supply wagon.
He was working hard with his long sleeves rolled up and l stood there for a minute and enjoyed the show.
When he saw me walking towards him, he immediately dropped his tools and a large, genuine smile broke across his handsome face, and his eyes lit encouraging me further.
"Gabriella," he said, wiping the dirt from his large hands. "Are you okay? Do you need anything?"
"I'm okay" I said with a shy smile. "I actually want to show you something special today. There's a beautiful place in the kingdom that I like visiting. Will you come with me?"
