Theo’s POV
I jumped out of bed, my wolf instantly waking up with a wild growl. Next to me, Selena sat up fast. Her brown eyes were wide with pure panic and she clutched the blankets against her chest.
"Theo, what's that?" she gasped.
"l don't know yet but whatever it is, it can't be good."
"I'm coming with you," Selena said, trying to get out of bed.
"No, stay here and guard the children," I told her firmly and leaned down and pressed a kiss on her lips. "Your brothers and I will handle whatever's going on. Be safe Princess."
I ran out of the bedroom and sprinted down the hallways. The castle was in complete chaos.
Royal guards were running in every direction, their silver armor clinking loudly. The smell of burning sulfur and gun power was apparent. It smelled like old death.
