The private dining room in the castle was warm and glowing with soft candlelights.
My parents decided to host a quiet family dinner.
We haven't spent any real time together as a family in weeks. My father and my brothers were working day and night and since I talked to Kael l know it's because they're worried about the witches.
Tonight, my father ordered everyone to put their work away for just one evening. He wanted us to sit together, eat and remember what we were fighting to protect.
