Violet’s (Selena’s) POV
I paced back and forth across the foyer of the Sirius pack house. Every single second felt like a thousand hours. My chest was so tight I could barely pull air into my lungs.
Noah sat on the bottom steps of the grand staircase, his head buried in his hands. He looked completely defeated.
I know he wanted to be out there helping but Theo forbade him from doing it.
"Mommy"
Lilian and Leo shouted at the exact same time running straight to me.
"Oh, thank God" I sobbed, a loud, ugly cry tearing out of my raw throat.
My knees hit the hard floor and I didn't care about the pain as I threw my arms open and wrapped my arms around their small bodies, pulling them as close to me as humanly possible.
I buried my face in their cold winter coats and kissed Leo’s messy dar
