I didn’t remember leaving the greenhouse.
One second, I was standing in the middle of broken glass, dead roses, blood and that horrible black residue that smelled wrong even to my half-panicked nose. One second, I had Perse’s cracked phone in my hand and those words burned into my brain so hard I could still see them every time I blinked.
THE TRIPLETS ARE TAKING ME—
